I realized today that I complain a lot on LJ, and a lot of my entries are either me bitching or being emo, where as on DeviantART I stay really upbeat and post memes and such. It's almost like I don't want the people who watch my art to know I'm annoying. XD

For those who read LJ (or both), sorry for giving you the short end of the stick, but I'm totally about to rant on something again! Huzzah!

At least the group ToS cosplay debut is being put off for a while. Only Lloyd, Colette and I are done, with the rest of the cast in progress and no Marta to speak of. @.@ OHWELLZ. Speaking of cosplay, I loathe the fact that DA decided to /just now/ create a "group" option that is different from simply using a regular account as a group. I'm not sure if I want to switch Louetta's entire database of photos and schedules and what not to another format while I'm already working out the website. I just posted a "what do you all think about doing this?" thing today, so we'll see what the host of Abyssians say. Oh, deviantart, my life and the bane of my life at the same time...

In WoW news, PvP servers are quite fun, but I kinda miss changing into my "rp clothes" and going to Silvermoon in the evenings sometimes. The poor belf city is practically empty aside from NPCs and lowbies. ;.; To make up for Asch being gone, I created a DK to roleplay with. So far I'm enjoying him a lot, but I'm always afraid of effing up badly in battle grounds. Lock to tank isn't exactly the smoothest transition.... >.>

Whewt for another good looking semester! 3D Design doesn't seem so scary, Drawing Foundations is going to be rather amazing, Art History is taught by someone I trust will make it fun, and Masterworks of British Lit is going to KICK MY ASS, BUT I'LL ENJOY IT! I actually think I might have a knack for interpreting Chaucer, because our assignment was to read three short poems of his, then interpret them, then check against some notes on them. After two readings of each, my  understanding was near flawless compared to the professional's notes. Huzzah~! Now the trial will be making sure my essays go well, seeing as our grade will depend on them.  *lets out air*

I also think I went f-ing overboard on WoW during the last week of my break... because my goal was to hit 50 on my lock... and I hit 60. >.>;
Either way, it feels good to fly! Likewise, I've enjoyed trying out the DK class. But uh, WHOAH. Pile on the emotions with the starting quests much? i'm like "Ahhahaha, die peasants die!", then suddenly it's like... wow, I was once an upstanding hero with friends and family, and now I have to MURDER them? Screw you, Arthas, even though you'd be impossible to screw through all that armor...

Generally, social life is good. I uh... found out that a guy I was crushing on was gay, though. It totally took me by surprise when he came out to my close friend and I while we were talking about relationships. Just my luck, but I feel really happy that he was comfortable enough to come out to us, and I still adore him as a friend. I dunno- i think I'm destined to never have a chance with the few people I feel I could be compatible with, be it for whatever reason. Lucky for me, I'm a fairly non-sexual being. Vinny says that when I finally find the right person, I'll jump him and become some kind of nympho. XD Leeets hope not.

I'm gonna advertise the hell out of anything and everything I adore. Want a spiffy, trendy ad for something? Lemme know and it will be done (or attempted)! This will also be leading into a new Youtube Channel for the cosplay group that I actually promote and update, because I will no longer be embarrased by my failtastic introductions courtesy of "U-Lead Video Studio 9" or whatever it was called. XD

I also re-installed Photoshop, so I can finally re-do those APH+Howl con-photos. Huzzah~!

Oh yeah, and finals are next week, then I get to go home on the 9th or 10th. Jingle-friggen-bells!

Yeah, so, I'll be at Oni-con for Halloween this year. Not sure about that, cause I've never been to a con on Halloween. Cons are sort of like... monthly Halloweens.... But I have a "secret cosplay" that has nothing to do with the Tales series, so I'm real hap--- wait-- was that the sound of the world ending? o:

Seriously though- it's non-Tales-related, and I'm actually very, very excited about it! I just hope the wig turns out okay. It's giving me fits even after klarthissexy so graciously helped me straighten it. 

And I'm going to sound like a moron (wow, what's new?), but I had NO idea WoW celebrated Halloween so fantastically, and I really enjoyed gaining half a level by simply going to every inn I could find and taking candy. Seriously. So much love for that game. And SO MUCH LOVE for rogues. I'm addicted to mine. <3 Not to WoW, just my rogue. *snuggles him*
He's so good at shankity shanking things in the back for half their HP! I LOVE HIM.

Anywho, I'm going home to visit Dad this weekend *cheers*, so I'm off to finish up with packing, but I just felt the need to commemorate a very epic moment in Guy, Van, and Luke's WoW adventures last night. I'll probably make a better, more appropriately dramatic version later. XD

HUZZAH, BITCHES. I finally met Johnny Young Bosch!

Which really made any and all petty drama seem like plankton in the ocean. But seriously guys, if more people would just be open and honest and not bottle ever single itty bitty issue and instead /talk/ to /the person they have the issue with/, life would be a lot more awesome and a lot more mature. None of us are ACTUALLY seven. XD

On that note, for anything I might have said/done to annoy or agitate, I apologize now, but wish I could have done it in person. Though I'm the "group manager", I'm still a young, emotional female with LOTS of room for improvement. If I can't trust people to tell me what I'm doing wrong, I can never grow as a good friend and a group leader. I love you all and only ask for your honesty. :)

But yeah, JYB! Omg! He's a sweetheart with a lot of patience and a great voice. Eyeshine really loves their fans and was SO kind at the autograph session. None of them acted "holier than thou" about being celebrities. They were so amiable and energetic and went out of their way to get to know us all. ^.^ So much love.

The ToA photoshoot was a sucess, but honestly, it wouldn't have been so without Natalia actually getting people to pose and counting down for the cameras. Leave it to a true ruler *shhIduncareifshe'sanimposter!* to get things done! ^o^

Oh, and Vincent, dear, you are the f***ing best Van in the world and on the interwebs. I'd let Luke give his thoughts, but we'll leave that for adultfanfiction.net or something~ ^.~

I dunno what con I'm attending next- Oni just seems so close. @.@

I'm at UT now (University of Texas at Austin)all settled into my dorm, as it were. Classes haven't started yet so I can't give a full report, but as far as the college experience goes I haven't had a bad time yet.

Feel free to resume communication concerning cons, cosplay, rp, etc. I still might be slow to reply when classes start, but this whole college thing is a lot less... emotionally jarring than I thought. That being said, my recovery time has been shortened quite a bit! XD

Usually I'm all for saying things to people's faces. I'm obsessed with honesty, but I understand that it's not everyone's strong-point to be open. So I wake up with a low bloodsugar and now I'm waiting for it to go back up after downing like, 3 juiceboxes, and I feel the need to check LJ and DA and whatever else. Note I said nothing about facebook, because facebook sucks. >.< Okay, honestly, maybe it doesn't suck for every generation, but mine just abuses it. Just... augh.

I dunno what else I want to do to this journal and profile of mine... I'm hoping I didn't come off as too cocky or something because of the picture/some of the words I used in my profile image thing. To be honest, I never think about that until a few days later when I see it and I'm like, "hm, do I look like I'm trying to be a show-offy bitch?" Then I remind myself that I never try, it just happens. >.<; I dunno what brought this on, but guys, pft whoever reads this and/or looks at it occasionally, I just like making pretty things. As flamboyant and assertive as I act, I love people and getting to know about them more than myself. My happiest moments are spent watching my friends enjoy themselves and being a part of group experiences. Hence why I started the cosplay group. I love bringing fans and friends together and making them happy. Hm... I think I'll post /this/ on my profile. XD What the hell man... what the hell. I need sleep. @.@

Yus. Two walls in the soon to be "gameroom" of my Dad's house (aka. my house now too) are this topey-brown color that looks sooo fabulous. I'm going to start on the ceiling (an off-white) in a minute. Whoo~ Something actually productive to do. XD

On another note, I'm in a considerably better mood than the last few days. I finally got a spark to work on my multi-chapter ToA AU. It's probably because I want to get Guy (main character, omgz) out of Grand Cock-mah so I don't have to keep describing Malkuth territory. Damn Malkuth... -.-
Ahem~ I've also got the song "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" stuck in my head. Wtf? At least it's upbeat (and has just the right foreign sound, imo). I blame Alara for having it on in her car when we went to WalMart during Miasma-Con.  :p

My poor baby car, Luke (1998 Crysler Cebring Convertible - Limited <-- That one's obviously not mine, but it looks like that), needs so many repairs. @.@ He's in the shop now and Dad and I don't know how much it's going to cost to get him fixed up. *sadness* I love my car so much- I hope he's gonna be ok. In other news, I've been spending money like a crazy person getting ready for the Louetta convention (now named "Miasma-Con") - granted I'm enjoying planning it and decorating and what not, and the major expenses are out of the way, but it's still a tad stressful. I'm hoping for a decent turnout and decent weather as well. If it cools down in the evenings, hopefully the rave/dance can be outsiiiide~ :D

I also need to start writing again. I've missed fanficing, and I have some axxum ideas for a an AU ToA story. ^o^ 'Here's to finally starting~

I friggen just bought a 30 dollar program to burn matroska files onto DVD (higher quality ftw). Instead of burning it directly, however, it turns the files into an ISO file that can be burned onto a DVD. Well, when I go to burn the ISO, it asks me for the ISO file and prompts me to browse for it- BUT I CAN'T FIND IT. I have NO idea where it puts this ISO thing! AUGH. I should have just re-downloaded the entire Tales of the Abyss Animation as avi files instead of matroskas, because if I can't figure this program out, I pretty much am flushing 30 bucks down the crapper. *hits self* It's not like I'm hurting for money, but most of my leasure money is going towards the Louetta Convention (what my cosplay group is calling this years 3-day reunion party). These DVDs were going to be used there, so the money wouldn't have been a loss, had it not worked. ALKDJFALSDKFJSLFKJSLFJKSDLFKSJ!!!!!!!!

On that note, anyone know how to locate the "path to the ISO" file? That's what it's asking for when I want to burn the DVD. *sigh*

LMAO. Seriously, what the hell.

So Amber and I are still awake here at 3:40am playing ToA. She helps me get through the Hod-forsaken Radiation Gate, and we start our fight with Van. About a quarter of the way through, he uses his mystic arte, Imperial Slaughter. Oh, he'd used it before during the fight, but this particular time he caught Luke, Jade, and Guy in the air with it. The freaking PS2 froze with Master Van in all his glorious, glowing splendor and our three heros stuck in eternal humilition. Not to mention, the controllers wouldn't stop vibrating 'til we turned the thing off.

I love you, Master Van. I f-ing love you.

A-Fest was freaking fontastic! I wasn't expecting to be recognized so much, but Jade and I got stopped by like, 8 people in the first night who truely /knew/ who we were cosplaying. (I'd usually quiz people if they asked to take our picture. lol.) Haha, the highlight of that first night was this one dood who was with his girlfriend when he saw us. He calls out to me, "Call me! I won't tell Guy!"
L.M.A.O. Okay guys, seriously, if a heterosexual male can understand that Luke and Guy are totally friggin gay together, why can't the rest of the ToA fandom? Chew on that for a while. Yes.

Yeah, we aquired some fanboys after a while. T'was funneh. Aside from wandering around, meeting some incredible other Tales cosplayers like another LHLuke, Yuan, my incredible General Cecil who was the most amazing body guard EVER (Who is NOT going to tell Father (Duke Fabre) about Dante or any of the other /lovely/ men Luke met this weekend...), and a Guy, a SHLuke, a Lloyd (the mod of Tales of Dressing AND the creator of Tales of Lolphonia. whee!) and a Zelos, we also attended the rave (PWNIDGE! Malkuth dancing with Daath dancing with Kimlasca!), shopped like crazy, and got to have a really nice shoot with Sky Pirate!

That photographer is /incredible/. He was so sweet too, letting both Jade and I hold his camera and learn how it works and what not. Heheh, the guy thought he was boring us, but we were both so facinated. ^.^ Hopefully those shots came out well- I was featured in a bazillion of um. ^.^;

Hmm, what else? Oh yeah! Checkout was crazy this morning, so we didn't get to give a last farewell to Cecil (T.T), but I'm sure we'll all meet again at cons in the future, if not online a lot.

Jade's axxum new video camera captured a good amount of footage, too, so you all know what that means! A crack video produced by yours truely within the next week or so! I have some SAT prep work to catch up on, as well as some friends in the real world that I've neglected, so it might take time. Sorreh.
